How much protein is in beef jerky?
How much protein is in beef jerky?
Protein content depends on the recipe. Check the table for your chosen flavour and calculate the amount in your pack.
Per 100 g versus per pouch
If the label lists 70 g of protein per 100 g, a 25 g pack contains 17.5 g of protein. A 50 g pack contains 35 g. Multiply the value in the table by the pack weight and divide by 100.
Why flavours differ
Marinades and other ingredients change the final nutritional values. Pure beef and a recipe with sauce or fruit may contain different amounts of protein, fat and carbohydrates.
Read the whole table
Alongside protein, check energy, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sugars and salt. We list all seven values on every jerky product page.
Ingredients and allergens
Read the ingredient list before choosing. Some recipes contain soy, wheat, peanuts or other allergens. The complete list belongs to the individual product.
